I am an elementary school Technology and Enrichment teacher. After a recent workshop, I have become extremely interested in the use of Web 2.0 tools in schools. My district does not currently allow students to use networking or collaborative tools, but my goal is to change that. I want the administrators to understand the overwhelming benefits, and to work with me to create a plan for avoiding the perceived dangers and liabilities of Web 2.0 tools.

Hi Christy,
Got the link to your blog via twitter. I enjoyed reading it. I am a newbie, too, just started teaching tech this school year. So much to learn…web 2.0, netiquette, tools, collaborating…
I feel like we are in the same “space”.

Hi Christy,
Give me a contact! We can collaborate on the judging of the Horizon Project 2008. Isn’t this exciting!

Like the new look! I wanted to contact you about a webinar thing we’re doing but couldn’t find your email…get back to me when you’ve got a minute.
Thanks!
